STEVE STONE – Head Coach
Coach Stone begins his eighth season at Hebron, and his 16th season overall as a head baseball coach. Before coming to Hebron, coach Stone coached at Rider High School in Wichita Falls and Euless Trinity Christian. He enters the 2008 season with a career record of 249-202 (.552).
A former standout catcher at TCU, coach Stone was named the Frogs’ Team MVP in 1988, a Gold Glove winner in 1987 and was the Fighting Frog Award Winner in 1985 and 1988.
Coach Stone led the Hawks into the Class 4A Regional Semifinals in 2005, setting a school record with 26 wins that season.
JIM FARLEY – Assistant Varsity Coach
Now starting his third season at Hebron, and second with the Varsity, Coach Farley is no stranger to varsity baseball having been the head coach at Garland Naaman Forest for eight years, building that program to prominence, before leaving to come to Hebron. This is his 15th season in coaching, and he led the Hebron.
MIKE DAVIS – JV Black Coach
Coach Davis took over the reins of the JV last season, and is now in his fourth year of coaching baseball at Hebron. Coach Davis has an extensive coaching resume that includes 26 years in the Oklahoma high school ranks as both a head coach and an assistant coach. He was named the Oklahoma high school Assistant Coach of the Year in 2000 by the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association.
MIKE McBRIDE – JV Blue Coach
This is Coach McBride’s fifth season coaching baseball at Hebron, and in the fall he also works as the offensive line coach for Varsity Football. A former standout football player at Texas Tech, Mike also earned Honorable Mention All-America status and twice was named All-Conference with the Red Raiders. He also played briefly with the Chicago Bears before an injury ended his playing career.
