They Miss Clayton
The Hawks' miss the speed of Eric Clayton on the basepaths. The senior outfielder tore three tendons in his ankle playing right field against Plano East. Best case scenario is coming back in six weeks, but that may be a bit optimistic. Clayton did what he could during the trip to Houston, including making out the lineups in the scorebook before the Clear Creek game. Hopefully, he'll be back on the field to help during the playoff run.
