Rightfielder Erik Grundstrom was both steady in the field and at the plate, where he reached base four times (single, double, two walks). His bases-loaded double drove in three in the third inning.

Greeted at Home
Jesse Payne is greeted by Kegan Stephens (22) after scoring in the second inning. Payne had tripled to right-center, then came home on Adrian Rubalcava's sac fly to center. Four innings later, Kegan also tripled to right-center and scored himself.
