HEATH BULLDOGS SALUTE THEIR FANS!!!
Everyone in the Bulldog baseball family would like to offer our heartfelt appreciation to all of our wonderful fans for your overwhelming support during the 2002 season, and most especially, all along the tournament trail. The tournament site managers in Chillicothe, and in Columbus, at Cooper Stadium both said that the Bulldogs brought record crowds, and the most vocal, supportive fans that they had ever seen at their sites. The state final game starting time was actually delayed to allow time for the crowd outside the stadium to get in in time for its' start.
The support of the crowd played a huge part in the intensity level and excitement of the players during the games. Both opposing coaches at Cooper Stadium complimented the number, and the noise level of the fans backing the Bulldogs.
Thanks also to the fans from the area, who have no connection to our school, or to our town, but are supporters of Licking County athletes in whatever sports they are competing, wherever they play. People like you are what high school sports competition and friendly rivalries are all about.
Again, many thanks. All of us are proud to be from Licking County...and, most especially, to be Heath Bulldogs!
