Heartwell 14U All Stars win tournament
CTT's all stars Tiffany W, Brittany, Katie, and Wendy led the Heartwell 14U all star team to tournament victory June 24-25. Four of the league's 12 all stars are from CTT.
Sunday, June 11
CTT mercies East Anaheim 2
CTT bats .538 Francesca gets 3 hits including a 2B, Crystal and Wendy both get 2 hits including 2Bs. Desiree and Natlie each get 2 hits; Katie, Tiffany H, and McKensie also get hits. CTT commits no errors and gets the shutout.

CTT mercies East Anaheim 1
CTT team batting avg was .471 Brittany had a 3B and a 1B, Desiree, Tiffany H., Wendy, Mackenzie, Natalie, and Crystal all added hits. Mackenzie and Wendy combine for 10 Ks as CTT shout out East Anaheim.

CTT invited to Represent Heartwell in League Championship Series
With 10 wins,6 losses and 3 ties, CTT had the second best record in the league. Tournament is this weekend in East Anaheim.

CTT loses to "Blue by You" in the playoffs
Brittany and Katie each had 2 hits and scored all 3 runs. Wendy and Francesca added hits. Catchers interference, a walk and a couple errors all in the 6th inning enabled team "Blue By You' to get by CTT.

CTT Blows by "Blue By You"
Team batting avg for tonight's game was .407 with 8 singles and 3 doubles. Desiree went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and Wendy hit a double with bases loaded knocking in all 3 RBIs. Francesca had 2 singles and 2 RBIs. Tiffany Welter had 3 SBs. Wendy pitched 2 shutout innings, together Wendy and Katie had 10 Ks.

CTT plays another exciting game with LA1 Team Vudu
CTT's offense returns: team batting avg for this game .364 Brittany had a double, Tiffany W and Brittany had bunt singles, Leanne had a nice sacrifice bunt. Katie, Wendy, Francesca, Crystal and Kandace had singles. Katie struck out 13 and allowed no earned runs. Vudu squeaks by CTT 2 - 0.

CTT near perfect
CTT nearly has a perfect game - only 2 runners reached base for team Confusion and none got to 2nd as Desiree gunned down one trying to steal 2nd, Tiffany W applied the tag. Wendy and Katie combined for the 7 inning 1 hit shutout with 10 Ks and 0 BBs. Katie scored twice and Desiree had 2 hits.

VIP mercies CTT
VIP mercies CTT powered by 7 hits and 9 BBs. Tiffany H got CTTs lone hit and stole 2nd. Tiffany W made an excellent catch in the outfield and Wendy caught a scorching line drive.

Team "Blue by You" scorches CTT again
Katie had a Home Run and Leanne had a very good catch in the outfield.
Saturday, May 6
CTT ties LA1 Again
Strong Pitching and big hits. Katie struck out 10 in 6 innings and Wendy struck out 3 in 1 inning, neither allowed a walk. Nether Desiree or Kellie allowed a PB (passed ball) - good catching. Kellie, Tiffany H, and Brittany made especially good plays in the field. Wendy drove in both runs with a single to deep left center. LA1 came back with 3 big hits to RF.

VIP Couldn't Touch This Again
Behind 7 innings of shutout ball and no errors, CTT shut down vip 4-0 in a well rounded team effort. Wendy didn't allow a hit to gewt the 'W' and Katie shut them down to get the save. Timely hitting by Tiffany(DT), Brittany, Wendy, Katie(sm) and Desiree allowed the defense with a cushion to seal the victory. The best stat of the game was that no runner reached 3rd base the entire game. That can be attributed to the entire defense. Of note are great defensive plays were Wendy's catch, Frankie's DP and Katie;s put out as well as Kellie and Desiree's backstop performance.

CTT edges out the VIPs
CTT edges out the VIPs. Wendy and Katie combine for 11 strike outs and allow only one run. Brittany and Tiffany W both get doubles. Smart team defense strand 9 runners on base.
Wednesday, April 26
CTT jumps out in front and finishes off Confusion
CTT leads Confusion 5 - 0, game suspended due to rain after 3.5 innings. Three shut out innings from Wendy, strong defense featuring a strikeout/throw out at 3rd doubleplay by Wendy, Desiree and Brittany and a line drive and tag the runner double play by Tiffany W. Katie also tagged out two runners. Katie, Tiffany H, and Francesca lead the offense with strong hits into the outfield. CTT closes out Confusion 7 - 1.

Team "Blue By You" blows by CTT
Tiffany W hits it out of the park - Home Run. Brittany and Kellie hit triples. We had 3 put-outs at 3rd and 3 put-outs at home. Nevertehless, Team "Blue by You" has a big fourth inning scoring 5 runs and blows by CTT to win 6 - 3.

CTT Edges out LA1
CTT wins in the bottom of the 7th inning. Brittany hits a triple in the 1st and a double in the 7th to knock in Tiffany W who scorches the base paths to score from 1st for the winning run. Katie pitches brilliantly striking out 17 and only allowing 3 hits.

CTT Confuses Team Confusion
CTT tops Team Confusion 7 to 3. Tiffany W goes 3 for 3 and scores 3 times, Francesca ropes a hot line drive to left field, Kellie bombs one deep to left. Katie, Crystal, Leanne, and Devine all get hits, behind strong pitching from Wendy and Katie who only allowed 2 hits...and several strong defensive plays by Katie, Kandace, Tiffany H and Francesca.

CTT comes back big
CTT has big comeback to nearly catch HW Team # 4. Wendy strikes out the side, 3up/3down in the 5th. Crystal has 2 hits and scores her first run, Devine has a hit and scores her first run. Brittany has 2 hits including a triple. Desiree goes 3 for 3 with a triple and 3 RBIs.

Katie goes 3 for 3 and pitches 5 shutout innings to go with Kellie's first pitching outing of the year. Crystal and Brittany get their first hits of the season, Leanne knocks in the tieing run. Francesca records 11 put-outs, 3 unassisted.
