Karson Tuck played 4 seasons for the Heartbreakers Red.  A tremendous hitter and versatile player that played every position on the field except pitcher.  Karson is a junior at Jacksonville University in Florida.

Katy Bobbitt
Katy played 2 seasons with the Heartbreakers Red.  An outstanding 2nd baseman and clutch hitter who brought a lot of positive energy to the field.  Katy is a junior at Mount Saint Mary's University.

Kali 'Gator' Ball
Gator played 2 seasons for the Heartbreakers Red.  She brought a steady bat and good defense to the middle of the infield.  Gator is a junior at Hood College in Frederick.

Breanne Lohman
Bre played 3 seasons with the Heartbreakers Red and brought a power bat to the lineup and excellent defense to the outfield as shown with this sliding catch in Binghamton.  Bre is a junior at Mount Saint Mary's University.

Jade Bowins
Converted to a Center Fielder when she joined the team in 2008, Jade ascended to the top of the order quickly and was a thorn in our opponents side for 3 seasons with her tremendous speed.  An outstanding outfielder and hitter, Jade is a junior at Sacred Heart University.

Katy McNally
OF Katy McNally added speed and offense to our 2009 team.  She is one of the best right-handed bunters in Heartbreakers history.  Katy is a senior at the University of Maryland.

Amy Metcalfe
Amy played 3 seasons for the Heartbreakers Red.  An extremely versatile player, her intensity level led to coining the phrase, 'She got Metcalfed'.  Amy is a senior at the UMBC.

Rochelle Christman
Rochelle played 2 seasons for the Heartbreakers.  She was a clutch power hitter and defensive player at catcher, 3rd, and shortstop.  She is a senior at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia.

Erin McNally was invaluable to the 2009 Heartbreakers with her versatility as a pitcher, outfielder, and great offensive player.  She is a senior at the University of Maryland.

Kim Anders
Kim played for the HB Red for 3 seasons.  An outstanding lefty pitcher and first basemen with a great drop ball.  She continued her softball career at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina.

Taylor Wyatt
2B/SS Taylor Wyatt played 3 seasons with the HB Red.  An outstanding offensive and defensive player, her playmaking ability and high energy were trademarks of her game.  Taylor is a senior at the UMBC.

Taryn Ashway
Pitcher/1B Taryn Ashway played 5 seasons for the HB Red.  An outstanding power pitcher and hitter, she continues her softball career at DI Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia where she is a senior.

Kelsey Mills

Pitcher and first baseman Kelsey Mills played 5 seasons with the Heartbreakers Red and developed into a big game pitcher and power hitter. 

She is a graduated from Salisbury University in 2011.   She led the Sea Gulls to the DIII College World Series in 2009.

She assisted Coach Burdette at Hood College for the 2012 season.

Katie Renner

Katie played 3 seasons with the Heartbreakers Red.  An extremely versatile player who played Shortstop, Catcher, and 3rd Base primarily.  She was also a clutch hitter throughout her career.

She continued her softball career at Philadelphia University.

Diane Lightner

Diane played 2 seasons with the Heartbreakers Red.  Diane owns one of the strongest arms to ever play with HB. 

Diane continued her softball career at Alveria University in Reading, PA, and graduated in 2012.

Alex Aburto

Alex Aburto played 3 seasons for the Heartbreakers Red.  She had an outstanding arm and was a clutch hitter throughout her career.

Alex continued her softball career at Limestone College and helped lead the team to the conference championship in 2009.

Roy Hammel -- Heartbreakers Coach
Roy Hammel is the first coach added to the Heartbreakers Hall of Fame.  Roy passed away in January but his legacy lives on with the Heartbreakers.  He coached with the Heartbreakers Red team from 2000-2004.  After his coaching days, he was a consultant to the team and was a fixture at annual tryouts.  Kay and Liz Hammel received a plaque at Roy's induction into the hall at the annual Holiday party on December 29, 2008.

Jessica Metzner
* Versatile player that played Shortstop, Outfield, and catcher
* Played 2 seasons for the Heartbreakers Red

Emily Enders
** Excellent leftfielder and power hitter
** Executed first feet-first sliding outfield catch in HB Red history at Pennsbury in '03
** Led Heartbreakers in hitting in 2003 season with a .363 average
** Played for the Heartbreakers Red in 2001 and 2003
** Graduated from Middletown High School in 2003
** Graduated from Auburn University in 2008

Liz Hammel
** Phenomenal shortstop and best hitter to ever wear the red and black
** Led Heartbreakers in hitting in 2001 and 2002 seasons

** Graduated from DI Iona College in New Rochelle, NY in 2005
** Hit .328 as a freshman at Iona
** Named MAAC Rookie of the Week during the 2002 season
** First Team All-MAAC selection in 2004

Alison Higgs
** Outstanding Pitcher, Center Fielder and Hitter
** Possesses the greatest drop ball in softball history
** Played for the Heartbreakers Red from 2000 through 2002
** Graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 2001
** Graduated from DI Iona College in New Rochelle, NY in 2005
** Teams with former Heartbreakers teammate Amy Burdette to form the nucleus of the DI Iona Gaels pitching staff
** Selected 2nd Team All-MAAC for 2002 season
** Selected MAAC Player of the Year in 2004
** Played in the Womens Pro Fastpitch League for the NY Juggernaut in 2005 and the Philadelphia Force in 2006
** Named Assistant Coach at Jacksonville University in August 2006


Megan Enders
** Outstanding catcher and offensive player
** Rifle arm, blazing speed, and spirited play were her trademark

** Graduated from Miami Dade College in Miami, FL in 2007


Candy Warden
** Outstanding pitcher, infielder, and hitter
** Mixed excellent speed with an outstanding changeup on the mound
** Consistent power and clutch hitter
** Played for the Heartbreakers Red from 2000 through 2002
** Graduated from Frederick High School in 2002
** Graduated from DI Ohio University in Athens, OH, in 2006 after playing 4 years for the Bobcats



Katie Davis
** Outstanding 3rd baseman, outfielder, and offensive player
** Best known for her tremendous bat speed and all-out effort on the field
** Played for the 1999, 2000, and 2002 Heartbreakers Red
** Graduated from South Western High School in 2002
** Graduated from DI Fordham University in New York, NY in 2006
** Set Atlantic 10 Home Run Record in 2004 and broke her own record in 2005
** 2005 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year
** Named Head Coach at Hood College in Frederick in January 2008

Sarah Ramsburg
** Tremendous outfielder with great range

** Transferred to DI UMBC and led the Retrievers to the Northeast Conference Championship in 2000
