HB Red Celebrates 2009 Season
The 2009 season was filled with highlights. The team won 4 tournaments including:

At ASA Nationals in Las Vegas, NV, the team finished 25th out of 140 teams and tied the Bayside Blues for the highest finish among teams from the Northeast.
The 14th Annual Heartbreakers Softball Camp has 113 attendees at Ballenger Creek Park in Frederick.

The Heartbreakers Red team was ranked 15th in the USASportsrankings.com final 2002 poll. With a 9th place finish in the ASA A Nationals and a 49-18-2 record, the team was among the best Junior Olympic teams in the country. The team was also ranked #1 in the State of Maryland. Congratulations on a great season!

Hall of Fame Heartbreakers Claire Dinkel and Amy Burdette left for Australia today to compete in the Down Under Games in Brisbaine, Australia. Claire and Amy were teammates on the Iona Collegle Gaels Division I softball team in New Rochelle, NY. Claire graduated in May with a degree in Business Administration. Amy will be a senior majoring in Accounting.

2001 Season Summary
The Heartbreakers Red finished the 2001 season with a record of 52-14-3. Some of the team's highlights included:

The 2000 season was very successful including:

The 1999 Heartbreakers Red finished the season with a record of 42-15-2 including tournament championship victories at:
** PONY National Qualifier in Chambersburg, PA
** PONY Firecracker Champions in Sterling, VA
** PONY East Zone Champions in Glen Burnie, MD
The team completed the season with a 9th place finish in the PONY Nationals in Sterling, VA. It was the final season of summer softball for Heartbreakers veterans Claire Dinkel, Valerie Bowers, Amanda Rhoderick, and Stephanie Happel.
