Our goal is to take the most serious 5th, 6th, and 7th grade basketball players in the Mill Creek area and provide them experienced coaching in a highly competitive environment.  Our parents and volunteers are key to the success of the Hawks Hoops basketball program.  Hawks Hoops is not associated with Gwinnett County Board of Education or any Gwinnett County school.  We are a partner in education with Mill Creek High School.  Students who live in the Mill Creek High School district and plan to attend the school are welcome to participate.

Congratulations to our Hawks Hoops teams!

5th grade boys finished regular season 4th out of 16 teams with an 11 - 3 record!

6th grade boys finished regular season 7th out of 18 teams with a 9 - 5 record!

7th boys finished regular season tied for 1st out of 17 teams with a 14 - 0 record and made the final four in their tournament!

 5th girls finished regular season 2nd out of 8 teams with a 12 - 2 record and won the championship with a 25 - 23 defeat of Buford!

6th girls finished as champions of the SBL league!

7th girls finished regular season 2nd out of 12 teams with a 12 - 2 record!

Tryouts for the 2011/2012 Hawks Hoops season will be Sunday September 18 and Sunday September 25 at Mill Creek High School.  Enter gym from back door which is located on the football side of the school.  Follow the road between the school and football parking to the back of the school.  Boys will be in main gym and girls up the stairs in the auxilary gym.

4th/5th grade girls registration 12:30 to 12:55 - tryouts 1:00 to 2:30

6th grade girls registration 2:15 to 2:35 - tryouts 2:45 to 4:15

7th grade girls registration 4:00 to 4:20 - tryouts 4:30 to 6:00

6th grade boys registration 1:00 to 1:25 - tryouts 1:30 to 3:00

7th grade boys registration 3:45 to 4:25 - tryouts 4:30 to 6:00
