Kicks Win 2005 Maryland Shore Classic U16 Premier Division
The Kicks completed an aggressive and physical weekend of match play by winning three games and losing just one. In the first game against the Jersey Knights, the Kicks won their first game by a score of 1-0. This game remained scoreless for most of the game until Mike Gradishar netted the unassisted winning goal within the last two minutes of the game. In the second game of the day, the Kicks again won beating the Bowie Soccer Club Rovers by a score of 3-2. The Kicks owned the first half with goals by Matt Crawford (assisted by Craig Miser) and the second unassisted goal by Ben Fraczkowski. However, the lead was shortlived as the Kicks allowed the Rovers back into the game in the second half to tie the game up at 2-2. Again, the Kicks scored late in the game off of a goal by Craig Miser (assisted by Ben Fraczkowski) to come away with their second tournament win and guaranteed trip to the championship game. The third game saw the Kicks play flat, however holding the PA United team scoreless for most of the game. However, the United scored with about 1 minute to play to give the Kicks their first loss 0-1. In the Championship game, the Kicks again faced off against the Jersey Knights. The game was played on a horribly muddy field. The game was physical and the competition was good! The Kicks scored the first two goals before allowing the Knights their lone goal. The Kicks goals were netted by Mike Gradishar (assisted by Sam FLynn) and Craig Miser (assisted by Santi Mejia). With the score at 2-1, the Kicks assured themselves of a tournament championship by scoring their third goal of the game off an unassisted breakaway goal by Mike Gradishar. The game became more physical with the score at 3-1, before the game was called by the center referee with about 4 minutes to go. An official game and another championship for the Kicks!

2003 16th Annual Moutain Road Soccer Tournament Champions
The HKSC Impact won the Boys U16 Premier Division of the Mountain Road Soccer Tournament held on November 14-16, 2003, in Pasadena, MD. After losing the opening game 2-3 to the St. Mary's Club Soccer United, the Kicks beat the Mountain Road Soccer Blast 3-2 and the Montgomery County Olney Thunderdogs 1-0. The 2-1 record sent the Kicks to the Championship finals when they again played the St. Mary's Club. The Kicks would avenge the earlier loss and beat St. Mary's 3-1 to capture the division championship.

Impact Next Fundraiser Plans Underway
The Harford Kicks Impact U14, the Harford Kicks U9 Girls and the Harford Kicks U10 girls are planning a combined fundraiser for March 7, 2003. The Bull and Oyster Fundraiser will be held at the Richlin Ballroom from 8 pm til Midnight. The event will feature a live band, 50/50, wheels and a silent auction. Tickets are $35 each and will go on sale soon. Each family will be involved in this fundraiser. Look for details on the planning session to be open to all families of each team.

UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS
The Harford Kicks Impact U-14 boys are scheduled to play three tournaments over the next three months.

The first is the Spirit Kick off Classic, in Downingtown, PA. While schedules are not listed, we are shown to be in a bracket with five other teams, all from Pennsylvania. They are the GVSA Rebels, the Parkwood Dynamo, NPAA Colts, TEYSA Invaders, and a team from Coventry PA. For more information, you can go to the tournament website:
www.kickoffclassic.com.

We have just signed on for the 5th Annual Classic Soccer Tourament in Columbia. It is held over the Labor Day Weekend and details are forthcoming.

Finally, we will be defending our title at the Cape May Tournament over the Columbus Day weekend .

The Impact had a lot of success in tournaments last year and we are eager to continue in the upcoming season

SPRING SEASON ENDS
Playing their strongest game of the spring season, the Impact defeated the CBSC Fire, ending the spring, 2002 soccer season. Timely passing and aggressive play inside the opponent's eighteen helped to pace the team to a 5 to 1 victory. John Gudenzi and DJ Lane each scored a goal, and Ben Fraczkowski scored a hat trick with three second period goals.

Defensively, the Impact had one of their most consistent perfomances, consistently shutting down the Fire's "go to" guys, and preventing any long offensive penetration in their own zone. Adam Sedlak had another strong game in goal, making several good stops on shots to the far post.

With nothing but pride on the line, the Impact players rose to the occasion, leaving an optimistic outlook for the upcoming fall season.

SECOND PLACE FINISH
The Harford Kicks Impact wound up the indoor season in a 7-2 loss to the Rockets, giving them a second place finish in the second session. The Impact were tied with the BFC Crusade, but given second based on our two head to head victories. At this point, the 2001-2002 season has seen three tournament championships, three first place finishes, and a second place finish.

Congratulations to all of the boys on the team who made this year a success.

TRYOUTS FOR FALL 2002
The coaches have set up a tryout session for the following date. It is
important for all current rostered players to attend this session. Please
tell all friends, players, etc that are interested in our team to attend.
If you know of someone that has expressed an interest in our team, please
call them and let them know of this date. Other dates in June will probably
be scheduled. Dates and times TBD. We will be posting this announcement on
our web site and on the HCSL and BBSL sites but word of mouth works best.
We are looking for players that will help improve our squad, not for players
to fill a spot! All players trying out for the squad will have to complete
a medical release form that will be available on that night.

Tryout session: Wednesday, June 5 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on the lower field
at Southhampton Middle School.
