Welcome to the Official Website of the Hanover Area Youth Hockey Organization and the Hanover Storm Ice Hockey Team!
Hanover Hockey is a non-profit, recreational youth hockey club for kids who would like to play - or learn how to play - Ice Hockey, open to all youth residents (ages 5-16) of Hanover, East Hanover and Florham Park, New Jersey.

Open Meeting Hanover Hockey - Wednesday, May-8th 7:30PM-8:30PM
On Wednesday, May 8th between 7:30PM -8:30PM Hanover Hockey will hold a Board Meeting in the Hanover Recreation Center Lounge, 15 North Jefferson Road, Hanover, NJ.
This meeting is open to all parents & players and everyone is encouraged to attend.
As mentioned during the Banquet, several Board Members are retiring. New Board Member Elections will be held during this meeting, and everyone interested in supporting the program during the upcoming 2013 season is encouraged to attend.
This is a great opportunity for those of you who may have thought about coaching or helping - either on or off the ice - so that our kids can continue to play the game. Please remember that Hanover is an entirely volunteer organization, and we simply cannot thrive without the help and support of our neighbors and community.
Here are just a few of the areas where help is needed:
- Fundraising - Non-Board Members - helps to find ways that our organization could raise funds to help pay for ice and other expenses.
- Apparel - Non-Board Members - helps to coordinate with the registrar for player uniforms and spirit apparel orders for families and players
- Website - helps to update the website for new events, news, activities and season schedule
- Team Managers - Non-Board Members
- Team Coaches - Non-Board Members
- Registrar - Board Member - Helps to coordinate player registration forms, registers players and coaches for teams and submits checks to Treasurer for deposit
- Secretary - Board Member - Helps with coordinating registration flyers with the team managers and the schools; helps with annual banquet and summarizing board meeting minutes
- Treasurer - Board Member - Deposits registration fees, writes checks for league and ice fees, banquet and other related expenses.
- President - Board Member - Guides the board, coaches and managers, works as League Liaison for monthly league meetings and communicates rule changes to the organization. Explains training needed for coaches based on age group.
Meetings are typically held monthly. At the conclusion of the Open Meeting, we will have a closed Board Meeting with newly elected board members to discuss roles and plan for the upcoming season.

Squirt, PW & Bantam Team Pictures - Monday January 28th
Hanover Squirt, Peewee and Bantam individual player and team pictures will be taken prior to this Monday night's Peewee | Bantam team practice.
Individual pictures will begin being taken as early as 6:00 pm Monday. Team pictures for Peewee and Bantams will be taken on ice at the beginning of their practice at 6:45 pm. The Hanover Squirt team picture will be taken on ice shortly thereafter.
Please see the attached form for order details, complete the form and include your check for payment prior arriving at the rink.
