Hanohano Outrigger Canoe Club: Useful Info & Links

Please remember the following safety rules…

• All participants MUST sign a SCORA release of liability before paddling.
• Lifejackets need to be in all canoes.
• There must be at least two canoes with 2/3 advanced paddlers to go outside of the jetty.
• Make sure you have lights with you if you will be out after dark.
• Follow the established boat traffic pattern while in Mission Bay (counterclockwise).
• All paddlers must be able to tread water and swin or must wear a lifejacket in the canoe.
• USE COMMON SENSE.
