Challenger Little League Baseball
For children with mental or physical disabilities between the ages of 5 and 18(up to 22 if still in school) interested in playing little league baseball.
The district 7 League Challenger Division would like you to join them in a season of fun filled baseball! The Challenger Division is specifically geared for children with mental and/or physical disabilities. Every child is welcome to play ball regardless of their abilities or limitations. Games, which are coach pitched, are typically played twice a week at the Deer Park Little League Complex (near the corner of Jefferson Ave. and J. Clyde Morris Blvd.). Through this structured, non-competitive program, the exceptional players not only receive the therapeutic and socialization benefits of being involved in an athletic program, they walk off the field each game feeling like the winners they are!
