Hampshire-Pingree Little League: 2012 Spring / Summer Season Divisions
2012 cost $150
Players of this level will continue to develop basic skills of baseball. Kid pitch will be used at this level from 40 46 ft., walks are not allowed, and coaches assist after a pitcher has thrown 4 balls to a batter. Depending on the number of teams some games may be scheduled with surrounding communities.
Players league age 8 may tryout to play up to next level. Acceptance to next level will be based on skills and draft selection. Evaluations will be conducted by league approved evaluators, parents may only request to hold a player back a level.
league age 6-8 (birthday from 5/1/2003 to 4/30/2006)
Baseball - Advanced Tee Ball
2012 cost $125
Players of this level will continue the development of the basic skills of baseball. Focus will be on Hitting, Catching, Throwing, and basic play fundamentals. Batting will be coach pitch at this level with minimal utilization of the batting tee. Games will only be scheduled against in house (Hampshire / Pingree Grove Little League teams).
Players league age 6 may tryout to play up to next level. Acceptance to next level will be based on skills and draft selection. Evaluations will be conducted by league approved evaluators, parents may only request to hold a player back a level.
league age 4-6 (birthday from 5/1/2005 to 4/30/2008)
Softball Juniors
2012 cost $200
Designed exclusively as a travel league for the players 13 & 14. All players must participate in a League evaluation to show a readiness to play at this level. Players will be eligible for All Star Tournament play.
league age 13-14 (birthday from 1/1/1997 to 12/31/1998)
Softball Majors
2012 cost $200
Designed exclusively as a travel league for the players 11 & 12. All players must participate in a League evaluation to show a readiness to play at this level. Players will be eligible for All Star Tournament play.
Players league age 12 may tryout to play up to next level. Acceptance to next level will be based on skills and draft selection. Evaluations will be conducted by league approved evaluators, Parents may only request to hold a player back a level.

Softball Minor A
2012 cost $175
Advanced level of the Minor Softball division. This level is designed to prepare the kids for advancement to the Major League Level and above. Players will be eligible for All Star Tournament play.
Players league age 10 may tryout to play up to next level. Acceptance to next level will be based on skills and draft selection. Evaluations will be conducted by league approved evaluators, Parents may only request to hold a player back a level.
league age 9-10 (birthday from 1/1/2001 to 12/31/2002)
Softball Minor B
2012 cost $175
A beginning/teaching level Little Leagues Softball Division. Full game structure, rules and pitching introduced.
Players league age 8 may tryout to play up to next level. Acceptance to next level will be based on skills and draft selection. Evaluations will be conducted by league approved evaluators, parents may only request to hold a player back a level.
league age 6-8 (birthday from 1/1/2003 to 12/31/2005)
Baseball Seniors
2012 cost $175
Play is conducted on the same infield dimensions they use at the high school, collegiate, and professional level. Designed exclusively as a travel type league for the players. Games are played against other Little League organizations from surrounding areas. Players will be eligible for All Star Tournament play.

Baseball 50/70
2012 cost $200
Advanced Transitional level for players 11-12 years of age who are looking to further their baseball skills. At this level, the pitchers mound is set at 50 ft -bases are set at 70 ft. Junior Baseball rules apply. Tryouts are mandatory for this level, as players are selected based on skill and ability. Games will be scheduled with other teams throughout District 13.
Players league age 12 may tryout to play up to next level. Acceptance to next level will be based on skills and draft selection. Evaluations will be conducted by league approved evaluators, parents may only request to hold a player back a level.

Players of this level will begin to develop advanced skills of baseball. Kid pitch will be used at this level from 46 ft. along with the introduction of stealing after the pitch. Depending on the number of teams some games may be scheduled with surrounding communities.
