This site will be used to communicate team activities such as league and tournament game schedules and results. Hamilton Sparta is one of Ontario's premier youth soccer clubs. The Club is a non-profit organization, founded in 1965. Our goal is to develop players of all ages through active competition throughout North America and Europe. Our teams are affiliated associations and leagues troughout the province (see the links below). Our teams are all based in the New City of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and compete in various leages throughout the Province (see - links below). The Club site has a direct link to all individual team sites and the new Sparta registration site. Visitors can access our Teams sites by clicking on the individual team links below or by using the menu tabs to the left. Our Club has a secondary website that is used for registration purposes only at the current time but will eventually be available to our coaching staff (see - link below). Please take time to sign our Guest book and visit our team pages. As a point of interest Hamilton Sparta was initially formed as a fan based club supporting A.C. Sparta Prague in 1965 by Mr. Dennis Zimmer (see - link below). Please enjoy your visit with us and take a few moments to see our team sites! Below is a play action shot from our under 21 women's team during the semi-final Ontario Cup round (Sparta vs Sudbury). Sparta won the game 4 - 0 and now goes on to the quarter finals.
Ontario Cup Champions
Congratulations to our under 21 women's team on winning the Ontario Cup this past season. In 1997 this same core group of young ladies and coaching staff brought the first girls provincial championship to Hamilton,an amazing feat! Six of the original players on the u13 girls team in 19976 were also on players on the 2004 women's team. Coach Valvasori has coached this same group of young ladies for most of their youth career.
The 2004 women's team defeated Windor in over time by a score of 2 -1. Their season recored was 7.6.6.
Many of the players on this team were able to obtain a scholarship a various Universities or Colleges thoughout the US. Others decided to pursue an education on Canada even though they were offered scholarship opportunities in the US. This team was an excellent example of local players achieving new personal best through team a local community socer program. Again congratulations Coaching Staff and Players!

Coaching Clinics - Coaches please make sure your coaching clinics are compeleted before the season begins. Course are available in March, April and May, times and locations are posted on the OSA website. See Course Dates

Volunteer Screening Forms
Coaches - Please see Club President Harry Poree if you have not picked up your Volunteer Screening Form. All coaching staff must return the completed forms to the Club President before the start of the 2004 outdoor season. Completed forms must be returned before coaches are registered and permitted to sit on the team bench.
NCCP
Hamilton Sparta Coaches validate your coaching certification number by clicking on the following link. This will provide you with an up-to-date list of all the coaching certification courses you've taken. All that is required is your last name and certification number. Please update the club on all changes. Finally print off a copy for your own records.See NCCP Certification Validation

Several of our boys teams participated in the annual "West Niagara Tournament" over the May 4 weekend. The girl's teams competed over the May 11 weekend. We'll keep you posted on the team results as they come in. It was apparent from talking with players and coaching staff that teams were proud to wear the new strips. Both the home and away strips are outstanding as you can see from the action shots. The quality of the uniform was only supassed by the quality of play from out teams. Keep up the great work
