2008 U13 AAA STATE CHAMPIONS
Thanks for checking us out. We are a U14 travel baseball team from Dublin, Ohio. Dublin is a suburb of about 35,000 people and is located on the northwest side of Columbus. We are Nations Baseball Elite level team (USSSA AAA team) and play as tough a competition as we can find in Ohio and surrounding states. The Green Sox will play 40-45 games that include four to five tournaments. We have traveled to the USSSA World Series in Southhaven, MS (U10), and Liberty, MO (U13). We have also been to Cooperstown Dreams Park (U12). In 2009, we will head to The Ripken Experience for the Beach Blast tournamnent in June. This year will be the last year for us as the boys head off to separate high schools and separate programs. It has been a great ride. Thanks to all the teams, parents, coaches, fans, umpires and organizations that have made this program possible.

GREEN SOX HEADED TO RIPKEN EXPERIENCE IN MYRTLE BEACH
The Green Sox will travel to Myrtle Beach, SC, in June to participate in the BEACH BLAST tournament. The players and families will enjoy a week of great baseball at the Ripken Experience as they compete against 11 other teams from all over the country. While there, the Green Sox will stay at the Island Vista resort hotel where they can hit the surf in their off time. Should be a great way to celebrate the culmination of six years of hard work. Long Time Umpire Rick Radcliff Passes Away
Rick passed away in January 2009 after a brief illness. Rick coordinated our umpires for the last six years and did many of the games himself. He also coordinated the umpires for the Dublin Baseball Tournament and Ohio State Championships at Berliner Park. Rick enjoyed being part of youth sports and we will miss him. Our baseball caps will bear the initials RR in 2009 as a tribute to Rick and his dedication to youth sports. Playing baseball as a kid is one of the best times in your life. Rick was a part of that time for thousands of kids. He will continue to live in their memories for many, many years. Thanks Rick!
