COLUMN: SAVING TED WILLIAMS Ted Williams, an American baseball hero and national icon, remains frozen and beheaded in stainless-steel containers at a laboratory in Arizona since his passing in July 2002. This current disposition was not in his 1996 Last Will and Testament, nor did he ever contract for such treatment, but this was perpetrated by the eldest son who is now deceased and also is frozen at the same cryonics facility. Cryonics, by it descriptions, intentions and procedures, claims to eventually be able to restore life after death, which is clearly unsubstantiated. Proposed actions are outlined on the following webpages to address this unfortunate situation, and assist in securing the release of Williams' remains.
