Congratulations to D.J. Simmons on his first sectional title. After 2 prior 3rd place finish's it was nice to see D.J. get a Sectional championship. Eric settled for 3rd at 140 lbs., but 140 did look like a loaded class. Damian in his 3rd year of wrestling lost a heart breaker for 3rd place, but should still be proud of what he has accomplished in just 3 years. Dwight had a good tournament getting revenge for one of his prior loss's with Wolfe from Juniata. Come out and support your Halifax wrestlers at Hershey on Friday and Saturday. Good Luck guys !!!!

In the tourney's only matchup of unbeaten wrestlers, D.J . Simmons of Halifax dominated Schuylkill Haven's Tucker Elliott to come away with a 15-4 major decision at 160 to improve to 18-0 for the season. This was his 2nd Schuylkill League title. Great Job D.J. !!!!!!!!!!!!!
