NHWOA TEN OFFICIATING COMMANDMENTS
1. NHWOA Officials build credibility on Judgment, Consistency and Hustle.
2. The Official who looks and acts professionally commands respect from the onset.
3. The Official who hustles gets the benefit of the doubt on close calls.
4. Think Ahead: Anticipate the move; but not the call.
5. See it, Call it, Sell it (if you have to)then move on.
6. Handle confrontations in a manner that you can be proud of.
7. Always give your best effort no matter what the level of competition may be.
8. Whenever a coach requests an explanation for a call, remember to "Respond" and not "React".
9. Mistakes in judgment are usually the result of improper mechanics or positioning.
10. No match is as important as the one you are going to officiate today.
