All coaches and trainers ticket beginning with 09 expire on AUGUST 31, 2009.  You will need to take a update your ticket BEFORE participating with your team this season. Coaches are eligible to take a refresher course anytime. Expiring Trainers can only take a refresher prior to October 31st.  After this they will be required to take the full trainers course over again to re-certify. Please check the OMHA website for clinic listings. More information is also on our Coaches Page. You are responsible for booking yourself into a course, but minor hockey will reimburse you if you are rostered to a team in the upcoming season.

New rules take effect for next season.  Is your ticket expiring in 2009?  The grace period has been eliminated, and if you do not have proper certification or recertify your expiring ticket you will NOT be allowed on the bench until you do. 

The OMHA is going to switch their registration system to Hockey Canada for the upcoming season and this will mean that your certification numbers are going to change once again...stay tuned for more details on this.
