Majors National (age 9 - 12)
The emphasis in Majors National is on advanced playing and skills levels for 10,11, 12 y.o., using a competitive game framework and age-appropriate Little League playing rules. Kids play 2 competitive games/week (Pier 40 or JJ Walker on Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) plus 1-2 mandatory practice sessions. We use Professional umpires; general rules include stealing (no leadoffs) and infield fly rule. To avoid injuries, we also monitor pitch counts and use of catchers in all games.

Participation in Majors National requires a high level of commitment and NO major conflicts of any kind. Entry is by Tryout, including returning players. We typically require experience in Minors (so very few if any 9s) and unselected players will play in Minors.

Our regular 2009 season starts in late March and will end in early June. Playoff and Championship games will take place in early to mid June.
