Under 21 AAA Hockey.....Minor Hockeys Final Frontier
Juvenile Hockey has seen an increase in attention, promotion and attendance in the last 2-3 years. It's hoped that while many players are getting the opportunity to continue to play competitive hockey, many of the organizations offering teams are working at developing programs for the long term commitment that Juvenile Hockey deserves. Once considered just a goon infested precursor to beer league hockey, GTHL Juvenile Hockey now boosts several teams that have developed programs with Junior "A" affiliations.
Some of these "Farm Team" programs have created sound development structure and continue to promote players to Junior Hockey. That has also assisted in creating an exciting and a very competitive division. Insomuch, that the GTHL has captured OHF Championship Gold in 4 of the last 5 seasons. More players attend College/University programs more than ever before while still playing competitive hockey. Our players get the chance to continue their studies with less of a commitment that is expected in Junior hockey. Follow the action of Minor Hockeys last stop of real competitive AAA programs. Home to some real outstanding hockey talent and real hockey enthusiasts.
