Welcome to the Grant Township Area Athletic Association.
Did you know that… GTAAA is a private, non-profit organization, incorporated in the state of Illinois? We receive NONE of your tax dollars or financial support from the area park districts, it is solely by volunteers! Each year we seek sponsors in the community and surrounding areas and hold fund raising projects to help meet our budget.
GTAAA offers Baseball, Softball, Tball and Basketball to the youth of our community through the hard work of dedicated volunteers.
The objective of the league is to implant firmly in the youth of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty and respect for others by providing a system of supervised competitive athletics.
We are always looking for Volunteers. For more information on how you can make a difference helping the youth of our community, please call 847-587-7608.
Building the Future of our Youth…

Important Parking for Veteran's Park
Parking seems to be a challenge every year. We have spoken to the village about parking issues and here is the information we have been given.
There is NO parkingon the south side of the police station either by the fence or the building or behind the police station - you will be ticketed. No parking along the access road on the north side of the police station. That area must remain clear for emergency vehicles.
AVAILABLE parking: Lower lot, limited spots on the north side of police station, and parking along Washington Street. Parking is allowed by the Historicial Building on Washington Street and the Bingo Hall - walk down Lincoln Avenue to the apartments - there is an opening in the fence to enter the park by the major field. See attched diagram. This diagram is also on our website.
Please DO NOT park by the apartments - they will have you towed.
Managers with visitors from neighboring town, please let them know about our parking rules. The police visited our fields last weekend and may of the cars illegally parked where visitors for the girls games. Thank you.
