2009

G.Y.A.A. is looking forward to its 7th year of football and cheerleading league for the Groveport Madison Community for the Fall of '09. Fundamentals and Instruction is our main purpose for developing this league. We will have three Divisions for Football. Division One will be those entering 1st and 2nd grade for the 2009-10 school year. Division Two will be those entering 3rd and 4th grade for the 2009-10 school year. Division Three will be those entering 5th and 6th grade for the 2009-10 school year. There isn't a weight limit in each Division.

Hope to continue the tradition of playing our last game at Cruiser Stadium along with our collection of canned goods for the Groveport Food Pantry.

QUESTIONS:
All games and practices are at Glendening/Middle School South

Football and Cheerleading follow the same schedules.

Season Starts:
Saturday August 15th, days for practice/games Tue/Thur/Sat

When will the season end?
The last games will be the weekend of October 31st.

I S H A L L   N O T
I/We shall not criticize officials unless I am ready to assume his/her duties.
I/We shall not complain about anyone unless I have labored more hours than anyone else.
I/We shall not criticize the opposing team, its players, coaches or fans by word of mouth or by gestures.
I/We shall not deliberately incite unsportsmanlike conduct.
I/We shall not be a "Grandstand" manager.
I/We shall not criticize a player in front of spectators.
I/We shall not bring and/or consume alcoholic beverages on school grounds.
I/We shall not smoke on school grounds, or at any fields that G.Y.A.A. plays.
I/We shall not use any tobacco products on school grounds, or at any fields that G.Y.A.A. plays.
I/We shall not park my car in any grassy areas at any fields that G.Y.A.A. plays at.
I/We shall not participate in, nor tolerate, unsportsmanlike behavior on the part of myself, other parents
and staff of G.Y.A.A.

I   S H A L L
I/We shall get involved. Stay involved. A successful season is truly a cooperative effort. Board members and coaches are unpaid volunteers. Any help you can provide in genuinely appreciated.
I/We shall set a good example for our children.
I/We shall encourage all children. Keeping all comments positive shall incite positive behavior.
I/We shall strive to make every event and activity serve as a training ground for life and a basis
for good mental and physical health.
I/We shall be on time to all events.
I/We shall offer my services for work whenever possible.
I/We shall notify the coach of any absences as soon as I become aware of them.
I/We shall clean my area of trash after each practice and game.
I/We shall work my concession stand time as assigned.
I/We shall remember that SMOKING, DIPPING, and consumption of alcohol isn't allowed in or around the fields.


I/We, having signed the application card, have agreed to abide by and follow all the rules and regulation described above.   I/We will make aware all of our guests of the same rules and regulations. Failure to abide by the "Code of Conduct" will result in disciplinary action, which may include dismissal from participation in all G.Y.A.A. activities.
