With the construction of the new high school taking up a large portion of the south parking lot, the District has been working with Groveport Police to develop a plan to accommodate large-event parking, including all home football games.

The focus of the plan is to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians and to effectively manage the flow of traffic in the area. For these high traffic events, police have recommended closing the GMHS parking lot, limiting the on-site parking to those with handicap placards, event workers (who will be issued a parking permit), and the visiting school’s buses and equipment trucks.

No other parking will be permitted on the high school’s property or along South Hamilton Road.

Off-site parking will be available at the former Sofa Express parking lot, directly across the street from the high school. The District will run shuttle buses between the Sofa Express parking lot and the North end of the high school site (the bus loop), beginning at 6 p.m. and running for the duration of the event.

Temporary “Event Parking” signs, as well as Groveport Police, will direct motorists to this lot. Eastland-Fairfield Career Center has generously granted permission to use their parking lots as well. Football players and band members will be parking at Eastland-Fairfield Career Center, and parents also may drop off their student at the Eastland-Fairfield location.

There will be no drop-offs permitted in the GMHS parking lot or along South Hamilton Road. Several Groveport Police officers will be on hand to direct traffic and ensure motorist and pedestrian safety. For the first few games, it is recommended you arrive early and be patient while everyone adjusts to the changes. We want everyone to enjoy the games – but most importantly, to be safe! -

G.Y.A.A. is looking forward to its 16th year of football and cheerleading league for the Groveport Madison Community for the Fall of '15. Fundamentals and Instruction is our main purpose for developing this league. We will have three Divisions for Football. Division One will be those entering K,1st and 2nd grade for the 2016-17 school year. Division Two will be those entering 3rd and 4th grade for the 2016-17 school year. Division Three will be those entering 5th and 6th grade for the 2016-17 school year. There isn't a weight limit in each Division.

We have a tradition of playing our last game at Cruiser Stadium along with our collection of canned goods for the Groveport Food Pantry.

For the 2016 season the league will be growing! This will be the 4th year for the Mini-OCC. There is travel for some games and they will play us at home as well. We're looking forward to this next step in the process.

All practices are at Glendening/Middle School South

Football and Cheerleading follow the same schedules.
