Green River Little League: Welcome

Welcome to Green River Little League's 2015 season.

Green River Little League baseball is a non-profit, volunteer oriented organization whose mission is to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball and our Little League Challenger program.  Green River Little League is committed to enriching the lives of our youth by fostering a love for the game of baseball.  We as an organization have two main objectives.

The first is to instill in the league participants of the City of Green River and surrounding communities the standards of safty, good sportsmanship, hard work, personal growth, team work, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority.

The second objective of the league is to improve the quality of baseball in the community by improving player skills and knowledge of the game of baseball.  The result of this objective is to have more players advancing to the next level with improved skills and knowledge.

Although we believe it is important to learn about winning and losing, all board members, officers, coaches, team/league volunteers, and players should recognize that winning games is not the primary objective of the league.  Ultimately the primary objective should be the players having fun playing a game they love.
