Central take First at the Grizz!  Out of the 8 wrestlers that competed, 6 were Champions.  2 took 2^nd.  We competed very well with Adrian Camposano (Kiwi) capturing his 2^nd Grizz title and half way to becoming an elusive 4-time Grizz Champion.  Louie Hernandez got the Highlight of the day with an Explosive win in the Finals.

The JV team started the season with an impressive performance.  In a dual tournament, we wrestled with 10 wrestlers each match (of a possible 14) and they all performed well.  In each match we won at least 6 of the 10 matches.  Outstanding performances came from Victor Quintos, Brandon Poppy, Taylor Wing, and Austin Goldsberry who all went undefeated.  Way to go Grizz!

Central had another good showing with 6 wrestlers representing against 37 other schools.  Most teams had a full 14–man team, and with just 6 wrestlers, Central still placed in the top 10.  Matt Ontiveros had the most exciting performance with an Overtime win to take 1^st.  Camposano took 3^rd, Nick Deorian had a good showing and took 5^th, and David Jepsen competed well and took 8^th.
