Fruitland Football Practice Procedure
DO NOT MISS PRACTICE FOR ANY REASON UNLESS COACH SCHLAICH IS CONTACTED!
Missing Practice:
-Illness
The athlete must contact the coach by phone in ADVANCE of the practice. You may leave a message at school (452-4411)
-Leaving School
The athlete must let Coach Schlaich know in the form of a written note (signed by your parent), that you are leaving school.
-Excused Absences
The only legitimate excuse for missing practice is illness, doctor's appointment, or family emergency. In any case, you must notify Coach Schlaich by phone at school (don't tell a teammate to tell us)prior to 2:00pm.
You cannot miss any school in order to practice or play in a game unless pre-arranged. If practice is missed too frequently, you will be suspended from game activity, and may be asked to reconsider playing football.
-Consequences (unexcused)
1 practice missed = You will not start
2 practices missed = You will not play
INJURIES: If a player is injured, he must first tell a coach. If the injury prevents you from participating, you are still expected to be at practice.
FOOTBALL IS LIKE LIFE--It requires PERSEVERANCE, SELF-DENIAL, HARD WORK, SACRIFICE, DEDICATION, AND RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY.
