FLAMES BASEBALL

Our MISSION STATEMENT!!!!!!!

Welcome to the home of the Grand Rapids Flames travel baseball club. Our Flames Travel Baseball Club Mission Statement: The Flames Baseball Club teaches young people the fundamentals of baseball in a safe, positive, Christian-based environment. Our coaches, players and parents ALWAYS treat each other with respect, dignity and love. Our coaches teach fundamentals, and look out for the betterment of the team; our parents, as the ultimate role models, encourage ALL team members, and are positive in words and actions; and our players encourage teammates, respect umpires and tournament/league officials and give 100 percent at practices, games and Flames activities. Everyone involved with the Flames Baseball Club understands that baseball is a great game, but ultimately our goal is to help our sons become strong, Christian believers who will use their gifts and talents to do great things in the name of the Lord.

Coupon Fundraising Cards

The Flames organization will be participating in a nice Fund Raising opportunity this year.  We have available, to all Flames players, coupon cards that will sell for $20 each.  There are several coupons on the cards, with the following vendors:

·       Applebees

·       Pietros

·       Texas Road House

·       Joe Chicagos Pizza

·       Sports Clips

·       Cold Stone Creamery

·       Dunk Donuts

·       Marcos Pizza

·       MC Sports

·       Best Buy

·       El Burrito

The coupons state they are valid for participating Grand Rapids locations (Zeeland Locations for Blimpie & 7-11).  We were told that most of the coupons will also be able to be used at other locations, as well.

Our profit on the cards is 70%!!  For every $20 card you sell, you keep $14!  You can use this money to help with your Flames fees or perhaps a new baseball bat, glove, bat bag, etc.

We also have an incentive for each player who sells at least 10 cards, they will receive a T-Shirt with the Flames Logo and their player # on it.

Payment for the cards is due on January 29th!  You will need to only turn in $6 per card sold you will keep the $14 profit.

These cards are not hard to sell.  The purchaser of the card will make their money back, just by going to Applebees 4 times!  Try selling to Family, Friends, Co-Workers, Church Members, Teachers, etc.
