Open Mouth Insert Foot!
The Set-up: A 14u Team Playing Up in an 18U Tournament.

The Background: In 2 indoor tournaments a couple years ago a certain 14u team had beaten a certain 18u team.

The "Players": 14u pitcher/power hitter
                        14u pitcher/power hitter's mother
18u coach and acquaintance of said above 2 "Players"

The Story: Said 18u coach approaches said 14u pitcher/power hitter and her mother and says, "Its gonna be different out here from indoor ball. There aren't any nets and my team hits the long ball". 7 innings later said 14u team beat said 18u team 1-0. The lone run being a home run hit by said 14u pitcher/power hitter!

The Moral: Never taunt a lion (or even a cub) before being tossed into a cage with one!
