Ashley was a Four-year letterwinner at Marquette High School She was named All-State, All-Region and All-Conference and Player of the Year in 2003 Missouri High School softball before taking her softball talents to Middle Tennessee State University. USA Olympian Amanda Freed Conducts Clinic at SLBFA!
NPF Professional Player, USA Olympian, All-American from UCLA, and two time California High School Player of the year, Amanda Freed, hosted a Charitable Advanced Skills Softball Clinic at the St. Louis Baseball and Fastpitch Academy on February 10th and it was AWESOME!
Amanda is one of America's most versatile, all-around skilled softball players (excellent Pitcher, fleet-footed outfielder with cannon arm, and an exceptional line-drive hitter and aggressive base-runner).
Topics Amanda covered were: Basic softball mechanics at every position, Strength and Conditioning, Dedication, Balanced Training, Teamwork, Positive Attitude, Heart and Hustle! Her pitching demonstration was amazing!
Amanda is a fabulous Christian role-model and ended up conducting this clinic for free as a contribution to the St. Patrick's Center.
A BIG thanks to Dan Buck for making this happen!

A new 10' X 10' wall mural was recently finished at the Academy and has been a BIG conversation piece. A big thanks to Mr. Larry Parent, the artist, his is a dying breed. There are very few artists who still do what he does. Come in and take a look at this great piece of artwork!

What's Your SPARQ Rating?
WHAT IS SPARQ?
SPARQ stands for Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction and Quickness. SPARQ is committed to helping athletes improve these five aspects of their athletic ability in order to take their game to that next level.
I am convinced that in the future college bound athletes should be tested and be able to back up everything that they show on their resume. SPARQ training does just that. SPEEDBOOSTERS is the only company in the St. Louis area that provides this new service. Professional scouts and college coaches are increasingly using the SPARQ Rating as another indicator of a prospect's overall potential. - JIM GREINER

GREINER FASTPITCH HAS MOVED TO BIGGER FACILITY!
GREINER FASTPITCH as well as St. Louis Baseball and Fastpitch Academy has moved into a new facility! The 22,000 square foot new facility includes a minimum of 8 batting cages, a 3800 square foot fielding area, 2 larger fastpitch pitching areas, a baseball pitching area with 4 mounds twice as wide as the old place, a workout area, a large team meeting room with a wet bar, an office and 2 large bathrooms. The new academy is in a nicer area with LOTS of well lighted parking as well. We are about 2 miles further south into the county, but still on Lemay Ferry Road at 3641 Reavis Barracks Road. Click on the pic and check out the new academy website at www.stlacademy.com.
