| After reading the guest book we had to type something. And to have so many different teams and people to sign it says alot for our Coaches, boys, & Organization. What a feeling it was to have experienced and been a part of the Nationals with GBC. Our boys are all special in many ways. And during the week watching each of them do special things and use their talents to the best they could like all the double plays, and super hits during critical times, like Zac putting down the bunt when needed or Kendrick hitting the homerun. And Drew hitting the homerun which I still say it went in one of those houses way across the street while they were eating their dinner. Just everything each of you guys did brought something to the game. But when I saw Wade kneel down before the last 2 innings in the Championship game and pray knowing his arm was telling him he had pitched enough he dug a little deeper and asked God to help him. And before those last 2 innings that is what he did. When we got pictures back and you see all of our boys hugging and cheering it just sends chills all over you and tears of joy in your eyes. What a special "TEAM" you are. Memories are forever and we want to say "THANK YOU" for giving us the chance to say we are the National Champs. But most important guys we know how special you are on the inside too. (And on a much lighter note Cheryl I am so glad you and your friends encouranged Robert to get up at 5:30 a.m. to see a Turtle. You did good!!! I need to learn that secret I guess. |

Congrats GBC! You all did an excellent job in the National Tournament. Way to represent NORTH CAROLINA!! You guys well deserve this title, being a very consistant ball club. Best of wishes to all of the players!!

| Im lucky to have had the pleasure to have pitched agaisnt your team (second time we played you #8) . You are all highly skilled players and i hope to pitch against any of you in the future congratulations you certaintly earned it. Well GBC...YOU DID IT!
You unleashed the fury and it was stronger than an F5 tornado!
You persevered thru heat, humidity, injury, sickness, starvation in the championship game, and even 2 certain umpires(you all know)to hold it all together to accomplish what you went to Cocoa Beach for...that National 15U Championship Title!Kevan, Lester, John...thank you so much for allowing the Poulks to be part of it all! Drew has benefitted in so many ways just having ya'll as his coaches! This GBC family has enriched all of our lives and is very special to us! You really could not ask for a better group of boys or families! We had so much fun and now we have those wonderful memories of an awesome week in Cocoa Beach! GBC....you rule! |

well fellas....we did it!! we came together as one and pulled through. we deserve this one more than anybody else. Kevan, Lester, and John, THANKS for everything that u do...all the advice and coaching, yall are the best. Kevan, u deserve this more than ne person on this earth. its finally urs. and im proud to be a part of it. guys enjoy every bit of this.....NATIONAL CHAMPIONS BABY!!!! what a feeling....stay in touch...ill talk to yall soon....
