Sondag hits Homerun, drives in 5, Green Hope falls 9-8
Daniel Sondag's 3 run homerun put Green Hope up 8-3 in 4th, but Fuquay Varina still came back to beat Green Hope. Fuquay scored 5 in the bottom of the 4th to tie the score, and one in the 5th to comeback and beat Green Hope 9-8 and drop their conference record to 4-7 and overall record to 8-10.
Green Hope jumped out front in the first with Jonathan Grudee's one out double, and then stole third. After Adam Baghosian was walked, he then stole second. After a strikeout, Brendon Lynch walked to load the bases. Jonathan Grudee scored on a wild pitch, but Adam was caught making too big a turn at third to end the inning.
