In the history of San Marin Baseball there have been many wins but only two pitchers can claim victory in the North Coast Section title game.
Darrell Fisherbaugh tossed a complete game, 3-hitter to earn the latest hardware for the San Marin trophy case but it was Mike Murphy in 1982 that went the distance to deliver the Mustangs very first crown.
Murphy, as well as former San Marin head coach, Ron Butori (1970-1979) were on hand June 7th to witness the Mustangs second-ever NCS championship.
