GREAT VALLEY LITTLE LEAGUE
Only residents (boys and girls ages 5-18) of East Whiteland, East Goshen and Charlestown Townships are eligible to play in Great Valley Little League.
GVLL accepts all players regardless of their ability to pay registration fees. Please contact the league at 610-644-7302 if you have any questions.
Responsibilities for team working the snack bar
As of the Spring, 2011 season, GVLL will only be accepting online registration through Active.com. GVLL has almost 1000 players, of which almost 300 choose to mail in their registration. This is a lot of work for our volunteers (2) to have to enter manually.

The goal of the Junior Division of Little League Baseball is to provide a good quality baseball experience to players league age 13 and 14 (age as of 4/30 of each year) as they transition from the 60 foot field to the 90 foot field. The Junior Division is made up of two distinct levels, a Varsity Level and a Junior Varsity (JV) Level. GVLL seeks to manage our play in the Junior Division in conformity with guidelines provided by PA District 27. This document is intended to summarize the general process by which GVLL players are assigned to teams in this division and how such teams are designated between Varsity and JV.

Two important board positions need to be filled in the coming few weeks. GVLL needs an Umpire Director and Concessions Director. These positions have been filled for several years by the same board members and GVLL appreciates their time and dedication. It is time for YOU to step up. GVLL will be unable to start the 2012 spring season if these positions are not filled. The Umpire Director is in charge of scheduling our youth umpires for the lower divisions. The Concessions Director, along with their committee which we are also looking for volunteers, is in charge of running the SECOND BIGGEST INCOME GENERATOR for the league. Contact President Mike Geib with any questions or to volunteer. michaelgeib@comcast.net
