Dear Businesses, I am the President of Grants Pass Pop Warner Football. Pop Warner Little Scholars was founded in 1929. It is the largest and oldest national youth football, cheer and dance organization in the United States. Pop Warner is the only youth sports organization with academic standards for all of its participants. I am honored to be a part of this fine organization and would like to continue to expand Pop Warner Football in Grants Pass and the surrounding communities. In 2012, Grants Pass Pop Warner was able to equip over 200 student athletes ranging in age from six to twelve years old. We began our season with our goal of building character and leadership as well as having fun. I am pleased to announce it was another successful season with several of our student athletes recognized as All League Scholars. We are asking for your support in 2013 as we continue to expand our program. In 2012 several local businesses were very generous and provided sponsorships and donations. This help ensured that our student athletes received excellent equipment, a number of participant scholarships and the opportunity to learn and play in an organized and safe environment. Investing in our youth’s future and requiring academic standards is the foundation of our organization. It is our sincere hope the student athletes of the program can count on your support.
