EAST ARKANSAS SPORTS MANAGEMENT brings competitive baseball tournaments to East Arkansas. We have been hosting competitive baseball tournaments since 2002.

We host very organized and competitive tournaments. The tournaments try to accommodate all classifications of USSSA Baseball (Major/AAA/AA/A classifications) when number of teams and field availability allows. We will be hosting for the 6th year the ARKANSAS USSSA 13 AA STATE TOURNAMENT for 2009.

Our sites include TILDEN RODGERS SPORTS COMPLEXES in West Memphis, Arkansas located on Airport Road. The complexes have 9 fields and are easily accessible from I-40, and the MARION SPORTS COMPLEX, COLONIAL PARK, AND K & R PARK in Marion, Arkansas. The sports complex has 5 fields, (2 grass, 3 dirt fields), Colonial Park has 2 fields and K & R Park has 2 fields. We are also proud to announce our participation with the POCAHONTAS SPORTS COMPLEX in Pocahontas, Arkansas, approximately 40 minutes northwest of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The park has 8 fields with scoreboards. 6 fields have lights, 4 are grass and 4 are dirt infields. The park also has an additional 2 fields for T-Ball.

We are offering an additional option for this year's pre-order form.  Please note that you can select your team color for a state touranment t-shirt or a color of your choice except for gray.  Gray will be offered only at the tournament for general sales.

The pre-order is the ONLY way to guarantee the reservation for your color option and/or your participants being able to have a t-shirt.  There will be no post tournament orders available.

Please have this pre-order returned to us by Monday, June 15th 9 PM, either by email to jumperks@yahoo.com or by fax to 870-208-9304.  We will confirm receipt of your order by noon on Tuesday the 16th.  Please have your representative that will be at check-in ready to accept and settle this order.  Any orders not paid or picked up by Friday night we will offered for sale to the public.

We are trying to offer a service to you that will ensure that your players and participants will be guaranteed a state tournament shirt.  This is the only way that we have experienced to have this system perform fairly and smoothly for all involved.

Please also be ready to have at least one representative for your team at a coaches meeting and breakfast on Friday morning, details will be released later.  We are working on having a coaches' breakfast for 2 coaches for each team plus a pre-tournament meeting and check-in.  You will be REQUIRED to have all birth certificates for your players at check-in.  We prefer that you have them listed in the order they are on your USSSA printed roster, to make the check-in move more smoothly.

At 29 teams already registered for this tournament, the first set of games are expected to start either at 11 a.m. or 12 noon on Friday.

We do look forward to your participation and seeing you at state tournament.  Please have our assurances that we will make every effort to for this state tournament to be the most memorable for you and your players.

As always, we award 1st and 2nd place team trophies and individual trophies. We also always strive to accomodate each classification (Maj/AAA/AA) when field availability permits. (BASEBALL)

For girls fast-pitch softball we will award 1st and 2nd place trophies for pool play format tournaments and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place team and individual trophies for 3-game guarantee double elimination tournaments. We also always strive to accomodate each classification (A,B,C) when field availability and team classification permits. (FAST-PITCH SOFTBALL)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ARKANSAS STATE RULES WILL BE THE RULES IN FORCE FOR ALL STATE TOURNAMENT EVENTS.  State rules are located on the state website at www.arkansasusssa.com or a link is found under tournament rules tab of this website.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT MARION PARK RULES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

NO METAL CLEATS ARE ALLOWED WHILE PITCHING.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED IN THE FACILITY.  THIS IS STRICTLY ENFORCED SO PLEASE CONVEY ALL PARK RULES TO YOUR PATRONS.

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE SPORTS COMPLEX BUT ARE ALLOWED OUTSIDE THE COMPLEX IN THE PARK.  THIS RULE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED ALSO.
