 The new Delaney Tees are in!

We will be selling them for $15 for adult sizes and $10 for kid sizes.  These awesome t-shirts will be available at the "Shirt Shack" for purchase.  For those of you who don't know the story, Delaney is a beautiful little girl who played for Grand Mesa until she found out she had Neuroblastoma (cancer).  She has been fighting this battle since October 2010.  She is now in San Francisco going through another treatment.  We want to help this family (who we all love so much) and our little princess Delaney.  We will also have a donation jar you can donate to along with the t-shirts.  Let's show them that the "Grand Mesa" family is here for them.  You can make checks payable to: The Delaney Clements Fund.   Thank you all in advance for your love, prayers and support.

CONCESSION STAND DUTY:

This is not a "volunteer" position you can opt out of.  We ask all of our players to have a representative of them work in the concession stand.  By having volunteers in the concession stand it has allowed us not to raise our prices.  There is a schedule released at the beginning of the year and it is also posted on this website so please look at it and note which day/days your child/children have their concession stand duty assigned to them.  If you as a parent can not work your scheduled shift, it is your responsibility to find another adult to work your scheduled shift.  Please help us to keep our cost down by helping out.

Please don't forget and help keep the ballpark clean.  If you have sunflower seeds, please spit your shells into a cup and dump them into a trash can.  Thank you for your help with this.

VOLUNTEER FORM - If you are a Manager, Coach, Team Parent or involved with the kids on the field (practice or game) you MUST fill out a Volunteer Form and turn it in before you are allowed to help.  This is for the safety of your children.  If you have any questions regarding this, please contact a board member and they will be able to assist you. You must fill out a new form EVERY year that you want to participate. You can click on the "Volunteer Form" tab on the left of this page and it will take you to the form to fill out. We will also need a copy of your identification with your form.

CONCUSSIONS - This will be a major focus this year in all sports. We, at Grand Mesa Little League, will be pro-active with this subject for the safety of our children. ALL Managers, Coaches and Board Members will be REQUIRED to take a free course on concussions. Please click on the link below to take the course. You are required to print the certificate at the end and turn it into your division representative. THIS IS MANDATORY AND THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS! You will need to click on the link and click "take the training". Do not forget to print the completion certificate at the end and turn it into your division representative. Anyone is able to take this course for their own knowledge, but is only required for managers, coaches and board members. EVEN IF YOU TOOK IT LAST YEAR...YOU MUST TAKE IT AGAIN THIS YEAR AND TURN IT INTO YOUR PLAYER REPRESENTATIVE.

BOARD MEETINGS - We meet the 2nd Sunday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at GMLL. Would you like to have input on what happens around the park? Do you have some idea's on how to make the park a better place? If you answered yes to these questions, we need you. GMLL could use some good volunteers like you to help. If you are interested, please call Dave Mantlo at 970-216-2570 and let him know you would like to help. With good volunteers, it makes everything better for the kids.

GREAT DEAL

Grand Mesa offers a great deal for drinks at the park. You can purchase one of two different cups for $5.00 and your first fill is free.  You can bring your cup to the  concession stand and fill your cup as many times as you  like through the year for only $1.00 each fill.  This is a great deal and will save you a lot of money throughout the season.  Stop by the Shirt Shack to purchase your cup.
