GCLL President to Retire Following End of 2009 Season

As many of you may know, Scott Sabados announced his impending retirement at the Annual Coaches.Managers Meeting in Apri of 2009.  Sabados has been involved with Little League as far back as the founding of Summit County Youth Baseball by his Father.  With over 15 years of dedicated service to Little Leauge his list of accomplishments stretch far and wide, including his appoinment to Umpire at the 2006 Junior Girls Softball World Series.  Sabados has continued to volunteer in Little League long after his own sons have grown out of the Little League program.

Sabados' Little League retirement will bring him closer to his ultimate career pursite as a Major League Umpire.  With his offical schooling beginning either in the fall of 2009 or winter of 2010.  We look forward to seeing him in the national spotlight in the future.

The Grand County Little League Board of Directors wish Sabados the best of luck in the future.  Thanks for your many years of valuable service to the Grand County Youth Little League system as well your service to Colorado District 3 and all of Little League International.
