The 2009 Season is Here!
The Junior Division is designed for girls in grades 3-5. The focus continues to be on learning the fundamentals of fastpitch softball but the scope is expanded to include player pitching and bunting. All players will play every position, except for pitcher, unless there is a significant safety concern. Participation trophies are presented to all players. No standings are kept and no teams are ranked.
Teams play between 10-12 games per season. Teams will play 2 games and hold one practice each week. Games and practices are played on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This season will once again feature interleague games with teams from the Millbury Girls Softball league. Games in Grafton will be played at Nelson park. Games in Millbury will be played at Windle Field.

New for 2009 - Concession Stand Staffing!
Every team will be assigned a night to run the concession stand. On those nights, 3 parents from the team will staff the volunteer shifts in the Field House. Your coach will be responsible for making sure the shifts are covered that evening.
We expect that every team will be responsible for just 1 or 2 nights this season - please help out when it is your team's night!
