Welcome to the Cole Division Home Page 

The 2009 Season is Here!

 

 

The Cole Division is designed for girls in grades K-2. The focus is on learning the fundamentals of fastpitch softball, encouraging team play, and providing the opportunity to play all positions. Participation trophies are presented to all players. No standings are kept and no teams are ranked. Teams play between 10-12 games per season. Games are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Nelson Park.

Cole teams are divided into two conferences – East and West.  Teams in the East conference will be comprised of 2nd graders. Western Conference teams will be comprised of an equal number of players in kindergarten and 1st grade. Teams will only play other teams in their conference; teams from the East will not play teams from the West.

Cole Division game day starts at 6:00PM. A 30 minute practice will be followed by a 3 inning game starting at 6:30. Time permitting more innings may be played. However, the game should end by 7:30pm.

New for 2009 - Concession Stand Staffing!

Every team will be assigned a night to run the concession stand.  On those nights, 3 parents from the team will staff the volunteer shifts in the Field House.  Your coach will be responsible for making sure the shifts are covered that evening. 

We expect that every team will be responsible for just 1 or 2 nights this season - please help out when it is your team's night!
