Who can play?
Anyone 6* to 12 years old as of April 30th of the up coming season.
* Note- Players at the age of 6 as of April 30th can play Single A if the following conditions are met:
1. The player has played at least 1 year of organized T-Ball or Coach Pitch baseball.
2. The players has an older sibling already playing in Greater Richland Little League, A, AA, AAA or Majors.
If you do not meet the these requirements you can contact Richland National Little League as they offer Little League T-Ball.
Which league, Greater Richland or Richland National Little League?
League affiliation is based on your home address: You are in Greater Richland Little League (GRLL) if your address is in the following boundary:
Columbia River on the east and the Benton City School District Boundary on the west shall represent the boundary associated with the GRLL. The southern boundary of the league shall follow west along Swift Boulevard (from the Columbia River), along Boone Road to the Yakima River, then due south where Kennedy and East Lattin Roads intersect, then due west (departing Kennedy Road) to Keene Road, along Keene Road (running east to west) to the first western edge of the West Richland City limits, turn due north to intersect with Kennedy Road again (ensuring that all of West Richland is included in the boundaries), then due west along Kennedy Road to the intersection with I-82, turn south-east and follow I-82 to the intersection of I-82, I-182, and the Benton City School District. The northern boundary is associated with the northern-most edge of the Richland City limits, including the Hanford Installation (from the Columbia River on the east), moving due west to the Benton City School District Boundary on the west.

What are the playing levels?
Greater Richland Little League has A, AA, AAA and Majors playing levels.
Single A Division - Players aged 6* to 8 years old.
AA - Players 8** to 11 years old.
AAA - Players 9 to 12 years old.
Majors - Players 10 to 12 years old
When is registration?
Registration is usually held the first weeks for February at a local school. The website will be updated once the date/times have been schedule, click here for the calendar.

Where is registration?
Local registration is usually held at a local school during the first weeks of February. Both Richland Little Leagues hold registration at the same time and location.

Is there online registration?
No, not at this time.
What are the costs and where can I get registration form?
The forms and costs are updated for each season.
Once approved and posted by our league board of directors, you can access this information on our league website.
Please make sure you are looking for the proper season forms, as they are not usually posted for the upcoming season until February.
When are tryouts?
Greater Richland Little League usually holds tryouts starting the 3rd weekend of February. They are usually separated by age and are held at the Bombing Range fields.
Who needs to attend tryouts?
Tryouts are for all players age 8* through 12 years of age as of the last day of April.
Players 11 and 12 that are already on a Majors team DO NOT need to attend tryouts.
Players age 8* through 9 are trying out for placement on A to AA level teams.
Players age 10 through 12 are trying out for placement on Majors or AAA level teams.
Note - If you played AAA last year you still MUST attend tryouts.
Not all players who tryout will be placed on a Majors or AAA team.
*Only exceptional 8 year old players are allowed to play Minor A baseball.
These players must declare they are trying out and sign a special parent permission slip.

Greater Richland Little League offers coaching opportunities at all areas of play, A, AA, AAA and Majors.
If you are interested in coaching A or AA please contact the Lower Minor League Coodinator.
If you are interested in coaching AAA please contact the Upper Minor League Coordinator.
If you are interested in coaching in Majors please contact the league president.

First-AID CPR Certification?
Greater Richland Little League requires all coaches and managers to have a current First-AID/CPR certification.
Please contact Hall's Quality Safety Training @ 967-5173 for a upcoming classes dates and times. They offer weekly classes.
*Greater Richland Little League pays for all managers/coaches.
When you call to schedule your class you MUST tell them you are a coach with GRLL and contact the league Safety coordinator Kris Humphrey.
