2009 Game Schedule
Just some quick notes in regards to our game schedule.
The 2009 Game Schedule is available and current as of 9/23/09.
Each Head Coach will receive one printed copy of the original schedule. The Xtreme will NOT be handing out copies of the schedule to parents because it tends to change almost on a weekly basis during the season. Some changes effect us and some won't. We do not have the time, man power nor the funding to duplicate and replace all of the out dated schedules floating around.
If there is a change, we will update the Xtreme Hotline Greeting and we will make every attempt to contact your Head Coaches. They in turn will make every attempt to contact the parents on their cell phones. If you have an answering machine, they will leave you a message. If you do not have an answering machine or if you have a "block" on your phone. This may cause problems in communications and you may not be updated of the changes.
All games are played in high school stadiums. For various reasons, beyond anyones control, the high schools may sometimes deny our use of thier location for a particular weekend. It may be possible that these changes to the schedule occur weeks in advance or late Friday night, early Saturday morning just before our games. We ask that everyone, before you depart to your game, please check in with our Hotline @ 323-798-8340. Our greeting will reflect any last minute changes. If the greeting is unchanged, there are no changes.
The Conference and the Xtreme are not here to upset anyone, nor are we here to see how many changes we can make to the schedule until we do upset someone. Please be flexable and know that EVERY Saturday, you will be playing a game against someone, somewhere.
For directions to the game sites, please visit our "2009 Locations" page. There, you will find the addresses & maps to all of our game sites. Please bare in mind that you may not always play at the high school of the team your playing against. Please remember that the address of the school is typically the address of the front office and not of the stadium or field. It is very possible that the actual location of the field is around the corner, around the block, across the street or down the street. Please allow ample drive time to accomodate for traffic jams. In the past, freeways have been shutdown for accidents or repairs, forcing drivers to take a detour. Rendering previous directions useless. So please pay close attention to your games details and drive safely.
