**HELLO AND WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE**
The Xtreme website was first established on March 20, 2001.
Keep our website as a FAVORITE or as a HOME PAGE. We host events all year round and we update this website as often as possible. We are confident that this site will be a source of reference and important information for our current Xtreme families and for those who may be interested in our growing organization.
The Xtreme is dedicated to providing the children of our community with a viable alternative to the negative influences that too often prey on our youth. We strongly believe that youth sports provide a great opportunity for families to bond with one another while participating in a positive and exciting environment.
In an effort to provide a secure and safe environment, it is mandatory that every parent & adult volunteer adhere to a strict Code of Conduct. Also, every adult volunteer must be fingerprinted using LiveScan by the local authorities & obtain a state issued CPR/1st Aid card. Furthermore, every football & cheer coach must attend a “Rules & Safety” seminar hosted by our conference annually. Lastly, to ensure the safety of the spectators, participants, coaches and officials, all games must be played in high school stadiums with a conference representative present.

**PACIFIC COAST YOUTH FOOTBALL AND CHEER CONFERENCE**
Pacific Coast Youth Football and Cheerleading is a program for Flag/Tackle Football and Cheerleading. The Pacific Coast Conference (PCC) is the governing body of 19 quality associations within the Los Angeles and Orange Counties and is designed to teach over 7,500 children, ages 5-14, the fundamentals and techniques of Football and Cheerleading.
PCC is under the experienced leadership of Commissioner Craig Burris who has been active in youth sports since 1970 and has been the Executive Director of the PCC since 1987. In 2003, Craig Burris was one of four men who were inducted into the American Youth Football Hall Of Fame as its Inaugural Class and in 1989 & 2002; he was voted Man of the Year by the Pacific Coast Conference.
In 2006, PCC was the home of 1 National Champion for Football and 2 National Champions for Cheer.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not meant to be, so He put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me". With tearful eyes we watched you, as we saw you pass away. Although we loved you deeply, we could not make you stay. Your Golden Heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
It comes with a very heavy heart to report that Craig Burris, PCC's brave, strong and loving leader passed away Friday, April 18. Please continue to pray for Cathy and her family at this extremely difficult time. They will need comfort and support today and in the weeks and months ahead.
Please continue to visit the Caring Bridge Web Site by clicking on Craig's Picture to stay connected to Craig's family.
Craig Burris will be missed by the Xtreme
After our Inaugural Season in 2001, the Xtreme was in a difficult situation with a difficult decision to make. After our first meeting with Craig, his wife Cathy and then Chief Deputy Commissioner Mark Edwards, it was very apparent what we needed to do. We had to join the PCC.
Since then, Craig had not only been a role model and mentor, but a good friend to me and to the Xtreme. Our phone calls to catch up on current conference and city affairs would always contain a word of encouragement, a pearl of wisdom and a laugh or two. I will sorely miss our talks.
In 2008, I will complete my 11th season as a Board Member and my 8th season as President. Craig was there for six of them.
I take solace in knowing that Craig is at a better place and that this football season will be a very special one because instead of him visiting one location to oversee 5 games. This year, he will oversee all of the PCC games from his seat up above.
Craig, You were and forever will be...
GOOD TO GO.

**OUR HOPES FOR THE 2008 SEASON**
A season filled with growth, inspiration, many happy memories, lasting friendships, teamwork, a LOVE for the game and the spirit to cheer. Most of all - XTREME PRIDE!!
Our goal is not to see whom we can outdo, but to see if we can outdo ourselves!!
**Have Fun...Play/Cheer Hard...Stay Focused...Leave Your Mark**
Remember that YOU can make a difference!
The Xtreme Board vows to do our best to provide an optimum, unparalleled program. Nevertheless, we acknowledge that this goal cannot be achieved alone. Our leagues success is directly proportional to the commitment of each board member, coach, player, cheerleader, and parent alike.
There are those parents that ask, "Why are things going a certain way?"
And there are those parents that ask, "How can I help make things better?"
Which questions will YOU ask?? How will YOU make a difference??
On the field or on the mat, we're willing to go to the XTREME. Are you?
THANK YOU,
YOUR XTREME BOARD
P.S. REMEMBERÂ…
