Longhorns Start Season With Great Games!

Your Northland Longhorns and Bulls teams started out the season on Saturday with 5 great games and unfortunately, one rainout.  The 5 teams that played outscored their opponents 139 - 13, including two shut outs!  A special congratulations goes out to the 3rd and 4th Longhorn tackle team.  This group, many of which were playing in their first actual NSYFL league "tackle" game, fought toe-to-toe with the Leavenworth Panthers, losing 0-6.  This game showed that even in a loss, much can be accomplished.  These players never gave up, playing hard right to the final gun.  Great job by all players and coaches, and thanks to the many fans that braved the chilly, wet morning- And even wetter afternoon!!

Please stay tuned for a make up date for the Longhorns White Flag Team!
