ST. JOSEPH'S SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND
St. Joseph's School for the Blind is a non-denominational, non-discriminatory, licensed, approved private school for the disabled, accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The School provides educational, residential, and supportive therapy services to infants, children, young adults and adults from throughout New Jersey. AS the only school for the blind in New Jersey, our purpose is to maximize the individual's functioning in all areas of learning and independent living. For more than 110 years, we have developed and modified programs to meet the challenges facing persons who are blind or visually impaired and have multiple disabilities. The future includes our dream of building a new school facility, expanding our programs and services, and continuing to respond to the ever-changing needs of those with visual and other disabilities who remain underserved in the State of New Jersey.
