But we haven't trained this hard to get discouraged by one match. We decided to try our hand at a new duals, so we headed over to West Johnston for a little heads-up competition. Things went well, very well. First, we went 4-1, defeating Clinton 72-12, a pesky Fuquay-Varina 46-30, Gray's Creek 65-12, and Pine Forest 52-28. The loss was a heartbreaker to West Johnston, 33-42, which is only a one pin swing. Second, outstanding individual performances for the day: 5-0: Jake Reinemund and Skylar Kitchen 4-0: Leo Diaz and Anthony Sampeisi 4-1: Charlie Dew, Xavier Bailey, and Big Matt Hannah 3-1: Kyle Hays 2-0: Devin Porter and Cole Reinemund Due to various circumstances, we had to take several young wrestlers to fill in some spots. Congratulations to Blake Raynor, Andreas Riggins, John Demcovici, Myles Jones, and Sean Duncan for their first-ever varsity wins. Thanks for your help, guys! Thursday, December 3 Tough Night at Cary In case you're wondering or don't know anything about wrestling, Cary is good. Congrat to Xavier Bailey for his pin.
