| The Rattlers are in the process of forming an 8U team (2010 ages) to go along with our existing 11U, 12U and 13U teams (2010 ages). A player must not be older than 8 years old on May 1, 2010 to be eligible to play on this team. The commitment at the 8U level is fairly light and is compatible with other sports and activities. Any 8U player interested in joining the Rattlers, please contact Coach Steve at ajkids@cox.net to RSVP for the upcoming tryouts in September. |

Go Lakeside American! Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy.
