Welcome to Lakeside American Little League 2015

Your Little League  L.A.L.L. (a non-profit organization) is solely supported by our annually obtained SPONSORSHIPS and Fundraisers (no other local school, business or organization supports our site with these costs).  We need to"raise" approx. $80,000 every season for expenses such as water, electricity, port-a-pottes, trash pick up, fertilizer, line chalk, baseballs, issued equipment, insurance, Assessment Fees, building, sprinkler and site repairs, food in the snack bar, drinks, website usage fees, office supplies, All Star Teams, 12 yr olds Banquet and so much more. 

A Little San Diego Padres Park  ~ Lakeside American L.L. is a non-profit Little League organization (originally chartered in 1970).  L.A.L.L. is one of 16 leagues within the District 41 area of East County.  Each run only by volunteers providing organized Little League Baseball to their community for boys and girls ages 4 - 18. (LALL is one of two Little Leagues in the Lakeside area, so check with the current Player Agent OR League President for boundary details.)   Our six, grass ball fields are located at 13145 Willow Rd. Team Parent Meeting

Umpire Clinics
ALL Managers, coaches, parents and volunteers that plan on or desire to umpire, MUST attend at least 1 of the upcoming umpire clinics.
If you are a RETURNING Minors or Majors Manager, coach or parent that umpired last season, and you attended our 1st clinic, you are covered.
If not, you MUST attend one of the following dates:
Saturday, January 31st 10am - 1pm at the fields. (See Steve Johnson)
Western Region 3 day clinic - Registration is limited!
Friday, February 6th, Saturday, February 7th and Sunday, February 8th. Cost is $25. (See attached flyer below for times, locations and how to register)
Saturday, February 14th 9am - 1pm at the fields - Hands on mechanics

Spring Registration
Cost: $155 for first player; $115 for siblings
Forms needed: Player Registration, Medical Release, Photo Release and Snack Bar Opt-Out **($40 due at time of registration if you choose to opt-out)
Additional items needed: Original and copy of birth certificate and 3 proofs of residency
Mandatory Discount Card Fundraiser: $30 per player for 2 discount cards to sell.  **Money is due at time of registration.

Volunteers will need to fill out the Volunteer Form, bring $5 and a copy of their driver's license

Umpires Wanted!!
If you are 13 years old and up and are interested in umping the bases, behind the plate or both, please contact Bryant Cosby, Chief Umpire
*High school age kids can get volunteer hours if needed
Field Maintenance
Any time you are available to come down to the fields to help would be greatly appreciated.  There is going to be a lot of work to be done from now until the beginning of the season.  If you can help out, please contact Aki Savage and he will put you to work!

REMINDERS:
*NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED AT THE FIELDS.  THIS INCLUDES E-CIGARETTES.
*NO PARKING ON WILLOW RD. USE THE PARKING LOTS PROVIDED. IF YOU PARK ON THE NORTH SIDE, YOU ARE AT RISK OF BEING TOWED.
*BE AWARE OF RATTLESNAKES. MAKE SURE YOU LET YOUR CHILDREN KNOW THEY ARE THERE AND TO REPORT SIGHTINGS TO AN ADULT.
*DO NOT TO LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR CAR NOR ON THE FIELD AND REMAIN VIGILANT FOR ANYONE WHO LOOKS LIKE THEY DON'T BELONG IN THE PARKING LOTS.  REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY TO A BOARD MEMBER PLEASE.  THANK YOU!
