The Varsity Lady Villains jumped to a 21-9 first quarter lead en route to 72-40 win over visiting South Stokes Tuesday Evening.

The Lady Villains moved to 1-0 overall on the season and 1-0 in the Northwest 1A / 2A Conference.

The Varsity Lady Villains will play their first road game of the 2009-10 Season Friday Night as they take on Northwest 1A / 2A Conference Foe East Surry.

The Lady Villains come into the game 1-0 in the conference, and 1-0 overall.

The Varsity Lady Villains withstood a fourth quarter comeback by East Surry to win 37-36 in Pilot Mountain.

The Lady Villains led 37-21 heading into the fourth quarter, but were held scoreless in the fourth quarter. 

East Surry had three opportunities to win in the closing seconds, but each time the Lady Villains made a stand to keep the lead and eventually win.

With the win, the Varsity Lady Villains improve to 2-0 overall, and 2-0 in the Northwest 1A / 2A.

The Varsity Lady Villains return home Tuesday Night to take on Winston-Salem Prep in a Northwest 1A / 2A Conference Game.

This will be the Lady Villains' first-ever girl's basketball game versus the Fighting Phoenix.

The Lady Villains come into the game tonight with a 2-0 record in the conference and overall.

The Varsity Lady Villains defeated the Winston-Salem Prep Fighting Phoenix 51-38 to move to 3-0 on the season.

The Lady Villains opened up a fifteen point lead in the second quarter before an 8-0 run by the Phoenix just before the half cut the lead to seven at the half 27-20.

The Lady Villains stretched the lead to fourteen twice in the second half, and the game stayed between a 9-14 point lead for the remainder of the game.

With the win, the Lady Villains moved to 3-0 on the season and 3-0 in the Northwest 1A / 2A Conference.

The Lady Villains enter the game 3-0 in the conference and 3-0 overall.

The Lady Villains jumped to a 27-6 lead in the first quarter and led 40-13 at the half.
