Welcome to the Idaho District 2 Little League Home Page!

Idaho District 2 is the Little League organization for Southern Idaho with 11 local leagues serving Boise, Eagle, Emmett, Idaho City, Idaho Falls, North Meridian, Southeast Meridian, Nampa, and Star.  Most leagues offer baseball, softball and T-ball for children ages 5-16.  (Age determined by childs age on 4/30/2009 for baseball and T-ball or 12/31/2008 for softball)

Spring Season - Leagues register players for the upcoming 2009 Spring Season in December 2008 and January 2009.  The 2009 Spring Season begins in March and/or April depending on division.

Summer Season - North Boise Little League operates a Summer Season program in the Treasuve Valley.  Summer Season Little League is a non-competitive recreational/instructional program.  Contact North Boise LL for details.

Fall Season - Fall Season Little League is a non-competitive recreational/instructional program available for players ages 9-16 (as of 4/30/2009) Leagues register players for the upcoming 2008 Fall Season during the summer months through August 2008.  2008 Fall Season practices may begin August 23, 2008 with games beginning September 6, 2008 and running through the end of October (weather permitting).  Divisions for Fall Season are based on player's age not playing ability.  Players will generally have one practice during the week and a game on Saturday.  Junior and Senior Divisions may have 2 games on Saturday depending on number of teams participating.  Many players participate in other Fall sports and activities while participating in the Fall Season.  contact your local league for information on registering for Fall Season.

Minor Softball, Major Softball, Junior Baseball Players, Managers and Coaches are invited to the District 2 State Tournament Picnic at the Boise Hawks Stadium.  District 2 Little League will have the run of the staduim with several entertainment options including batting practice on the field, bounce house, pitching speed, etc. Additional family and friends are invited to attend for $5, tickets must be reserved by 7/21 so we can plan for the right amount of food.

Once your League Charter has been processed the league's president will recieve by mail Operating Manuals and Rule Books based on the number of teams chartered.  These are included in the cost of your team charters.  (Please be sure your league president name and address are current on LittleLeague.org)

For additional Rulebooks and/or Operating Manuals you must call the LL toll free order number 1-800-874-2852 at the HQ location in Williamsport to order.  Please have your League ID# ready.
