2009 MUSTANG WORLD SERIES

The 15th Anniversary Mustang World Series is just around the corner! Come out and see some great baseball by by 8 teams converging on Irving, TX. Irving and Granbury from TX, 1 each team from across the 4 US Zones, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. The game schedule can be found here. We have arranged for participants, coaches, parents, vistors and IBBA local players to attend an AIRHOGS baseball game to kick-off the festivities Tuesday Aug. 5th @7:00pm. Flyer is on the HANDOUTS page that outlines the special offer!

SPECIAL THANKS! to the City of Irving and all the support and the effort to assist in making this event fun for all involved !!

Nations Baseball State Tournaments
Coaches please make sure you are registered for the Nations Tournament for the weekend of 5/29. If you need assistance please contact your league director ASAP to get this done. Brackets are filling up quickly and you may not be able to play if you do not get this done immediately. The league is paying the entry fee for this tournament.You MUST play in the State Tournament to qualify for the National Event in June.

MUSTANG WORLD SERIES ! ! !

The PONY sanctioned Mustang World Series will again be in Irving, TX starting August 6 through August 9th! There will be 8 teams, 2 from TEXAS! 1 from each US PONY Zone, and 1 each from Puerto Rico and Mexico represented in 4 GREAT days of Baseball. Make your plans to attend now and come see the best play the GREAT game of Baseball! ! !

Tournament passes will be availble for $20.00 and daily passes will be $8.00. Children under 8 enter free! The passes will be available at the hotel and as you enter the park entrance. Color programs and souviners will also be available.

The tournament information and competion bracket can be found on the PONY.org webpage. Opening ceremony will be Wed Aug 6th @5:30 on Field 2 followed by two games each on Field 1 & 2. Each night two games will be played on each field with the Championship game on Sat Aug 9th @ 7:30.

The teams will be hosted at the DFW Noth Mariott on Freeport Pkwy close to the airport.

A special local player night is planned for Friday night! Any local player coming in jersey and hat can enter the game free of charge. Accompanying adult will be charged the normal gate fee.

A full concession will be available in the park. No coolers will be allowed in the park.

Jerry Hux Memorial Baseball Tournament
Feb 9th IBBA will be hosting a baseball tournament in memory of former IBBA player Jerry Hux. We are taking teams of all ages and will form the brakcets as the teams are registered. Spring 2007 Pre-Season Tournament
IBBA Spring Pre-Season tournament will be held March 26-31 at Trininty View Park. This is an open tournament to get tuned up for our season. There is a two game guarantee.

           IBBA League Teams            $ 100.00
           IBBA Southwest Classic      $ 200.00
           All others                             $ 250.00

Contact a League Director for entry and registration information. Registration needs o be received by March 24th and payment must be received prior to the first game to be played.

PONY Shetland and Pinto State Tournament

The PONY Shetland and Pinto State Tournament is scheduled to start July 18th. Please send your team photo and team roster to the following email address(PREFERRED). If you only have a hardcopy please send to snail mail address below. Roster needs to be printed or typed and legible or it will not be listed to avoid errors. Please send as soon as possible in order to facilitate a program generation and availability at the opening of the tournament.

The Host hotel is the DFW Airport Marriott located at Hwy 114 and Esters Road, Phone 972-871-4200 and the rate is $85.00 per night. Reference the PONY State Tournament.
